MVP! MVP! MVP!

This is how the MVP voting turned out for the 2009-10 season. Can someone help me understand how Deron Williams could possible receive 0 first place votes, 0 second place votes and only 1 third place vote? This is astounding to me.
I recognize that the Jazz ended up as a 5th seed but he did win as many playoff series this year as "The Chosen One". In fact he won more playoff series this year than everyone above him on this list, aside from Steve Nash, Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant.
I'm Just sayin...
